Moms Hamburger Gravy

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • salt
  • pepper
  • canned milk
  • water
  • salt and pepper
  • dried beef, chopped (optional)

Directions

  • 1 Brown the hamburger.
  • 2 Remove the meat to bowl.
  • 3 Sprinkle flour into fat; brown the flour.
  • 4 Add the canned milk and enough water to make a gravy, stirring on low.
  • 5 Add hamburger back to gravy.
  • 6 Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • 7 Cook on low for a while (the longer you cook the better); 15 minutes is good.
  • 8 You can add dried beef if you want, cut in small pieces.
