Hot Chicken Sticks

Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 24 wooden skewers or 24 metal skewers
  • 1/2 cup chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons hot pepper sauce or 2 teaspoons hot pepper jelly, for a sweeter taste
  • 2 lbs chicken tenders (24)

Directions

  • 1 Heat your grill to medium heat.
  • 2 If using wooden skewers be sure to soak them in water for 30 minutes.
  • 3 Be sure to oil grill before cooking.
  • 4 Combine chili sauce, Worcestershire sauce and hot pepper sauce, or the hot pepper jelly, whichever you are using.
  • 5 Thread each chicken tender onto skewer, leaving 1 inch empty at each end.
  • 6 Baste with the chili sauce mixture.
  • 7 Grill on medium heat for about 15 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink in center.
  • 8 Baste often with the chili sauce mixture.
  • 9 Dipping Sauce:.
  • 10 Combine bleu cheese dressing, celery and onion and serve with chicken.
