Hot Chicken Sticks
Time: 30 mins
Ingredients
- 24 wooden skewers or 24 metal skewers
- 1/2 cup chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons hot pepper sauce or 2 teaspoons hot pepper jelly, for a sweeter taste
- 2 lbs chicken tenders (24)
Directions
- 1 Heat your grill to medium heat.
- 2 If using wooden skewers be sure to soak them in water for 30 minutes.
- 3 Be sure to oil grill before cooking.
- 4 Combine chili sauce, Worcestershire sauce and hot pepper sauce, or the hot pepper jelly, whichever you are using.
- 5 Thread each chicken tender onto skewer, leaving 1 inch empty at each end.
- 6 Baste with the chili sauce mixture.
- 7 Grill on medium heat for about 15 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink in center.
- 8 Baste often with the chili sauce mixture.
- 9 Dipping Sauce:.
- 10 Combine bleu cheese dressing, celery and onion and serve with chicken.
