The thing about most of the gorgeous colored hair photos on pinterest is that they are photo shopped. A lot of people know this and just pin because they love the concept of the color but it bothers me because I have friends who die their hair unnatural colors and believe me - there is no keeping your hair gorgeous and soft and hydrated with these types of colors. I feel like all these photoshopped pictures give people unrealistic ideas about how their hair will act when dyed bright purple or pastel pink/green/blue - unless you have a celebrity budget and celeb hairstylist, having to bleach your hair to add fun color to it is going to ruin your hair. Really, really, significantly ruin your hair.
