Easy Peach Cobbler

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 29 ounces canned peaches (drained) or 8 -10 fresh peaches
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Directions

  • 1 Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and milk to create batter.
  • 2 Melt 1 stick of butter in 9 X 9 casserole dish. Pour some of the batter into the dish.
  • 3 Add peaches. (as much as needed to fill baking dish).
  • 4 Pour in remaining batter and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  • 5 Bake uncovered at 325 for 1 hour or until golden brown.
