Pineapple-macadamia Nut Pie

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 cup dark corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon rum extract or 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1/2 cup macadamia nuts, crushed
  • 1 9 inch pie shell

Directions

  • 1 Cream together butter and sugar.
  • 2 Add eggs one at a time and continue beating.
  • 3 Add corn syrup, flour, rum extract, pineapple and nuts.
  • 4 Pour into pie shell and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until firm.
  • 5 Allow to cool before serving.
