Pineapple and Macadamia Shortbread

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup cold butter
- 1/4 cup finely chopped macadamia nuts
- 1/4 cup chopped candied pineapple
Directions
- 1 preheat oven to 325.
- 2 combine flour and sugar.
- 3 cut in butter until mixture resembles fine crumbs and starts to cling.
- 4 stir in nuts and pineapple.
- 5 form into ball, knead until smooth.
- 6 on a lightly floured surface roll dough 1/4 inch thick.
- 7 using a 2 inch cookie cutter cut into shapes.
- 8 reroll scrapes only twice.
- 9 place 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
- 10 bake 15-20 minutes.
- 11 transfer to wire rack.
