Moroccan Style Lamb Burgers
Time: 30 mins
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs lean ground lamb
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 4 tablespoons chopped cilantro
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 2 teaspoons chopped garlic
Directions
- 1 Put the lamb in a mixing bowl and add all of the ingredients except the vegetable oil.
- 2 Using your hand, mix everything thoroughly.
- 3 Shape the mixture into 8 equal size patties similar to hamburgers.
- 4 Heat the oil in a non stick skillet.
- 5 Cook the patties over medium high heat about 3 to 4 minutes on each side, depending on the degree of doneness desired.
- 6 Drain on paper towels and serve.
