Moroccan Style Lamb Burgers

Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs lean ground lamb
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 4 tablespoons chopped cilantro
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons chopped garlic

Directions

  • 1 Put the lamb in a mixing bowl and add all of the ingredients except the vegetable oil.
  • 2 Using your hand, mix everything thoroughly.
  • 3 Shape the mixture into 8 equal size patties similar to hamburgers.
  • 4 Heat the oil in a non stick skillet.
  • 5 Cook the patties over medium high heat about 3 to 4 minutes on each side, depending on the degree of doneness desired.
  • 6 Drain on paper towels and serve.
