Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 egg
- vegetable oil (for frying)
Directions
- 1 Combine dry ingredients. Add buttermilk and egg. Beat till smooth. Dip thin sliced veggies into batter then deep fry. Drain on paper towel if desired.
