Eggnog Biscuits

Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup biscuit mix, plus
  • 1 tablespoon biscuit mix
  • 1/3 cup commerically prepared eggnog
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Directions

  • 1 In a small bowl, combine biscuit mix and eggnog just until moistened.
  • 2 Turn onto a lightly floured surface; knead 8-10 times.
  • 3 Pat or roll out to 1/2 inch thickness; cut with a floured 2-1/2 inch biscuit cutter.
  • 4 Place 2 inches apart on a greased baking sheet.
  • 5 Sprinkle with nutmeg.
  • 6 Bake at 450 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • 7 Serve warm.
