Sweet Carrots

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups baby carrots
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon butter or 1 teaspoon margarine
  • 1 teaspoon white wine vinegar or 1 teaspoon cider vinegar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Directions

  • 1 Place carrots in a covered microwave dish.
  • 2 Put in about 2 Tablespoons water.
  • 3 Cover and microwave on high about 3 to 5 minutes.
  • 4 Drain water.
  • 5 Add the brown sugar, butter, vinegar and salt.
  • 6 Toss until butter is melted and carrots are coated.
